Farming is one of his favorite subjects (ours, too) and you’ll get to experience it all through his eyes. Discuss cameras, lenses, light, and soil with him—and then choose your favorite photo from the day to keep forever.

Dining under glass

Enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime evening inside The Food Project’s lush Dudley Greenhouse with up to 20 of your favorite friends. You and your guests will enjoy a seasonal three-course meal prepared by Nico and Amelia Monday of The Market Restaurant—paired with wine, of course. Food Project youth and staff will provide table service for your party. This is truly a once-in- a-lifetime experience!

Savor a sumptuous beachside dinner for 30, prepared by Henrietta’s Table chef Peter Davis at the historic Nahant Life Saving Station. This elegant event is perfect for a happy occasion. Baby shower? Graduation? Whatever you’re celebrating, one thing is for sure: with food this good, life really is a beach.

Whole hog: a summertime pig roast

Esteemed Chef Matthew Gaudet (Aquavit, Eleven Madison Park, Jean-Georges, The French Laundry, and the new Superfine) was voted one of the country’s “Best New Chefs” in 2013—and he’s taking his skills to your backyard. Enjoy an authentic pig roast (in his famous La Caja China pig roaster) complete with border-style sides and a whole lot of fun. Invite 24 friends, and then go on, pig out!

A Garden Built for You

The Food Project’s Root Crew youth will custom-design, construct, and plant a raised-bed vegetable garden in your backyard or location of your choice.* Then, a Food Project grower will plant your garden—up to 4 plots total—with seedlings from our greenhouse. Just add water and love, and you’ll enjoy a delicious bounty for many seasons to come.
