The evening will conclude with the opportunity for guests to fund specific needs of The Food Project and support our vision of a world where youth are active leaders, diverse communities feel connected to the land and each other, and everyone has access to fresh, local, healthy, affordable food. Every gift enhances our work with youth, food, and community.
Give a teen a life-changing summer. Fund all expenses for one youth, including a weekly stipend, transportation, mentoring and supervision, curriculum development, and evaluation. Youth are the agents of change improving food systems in our communities; your gift makes all if this possible!
Provide a truckload of fresh produce grown on The Food Project’s farms to one of our partner hunger relief organizations. Every year, The Food Project donates over 150,000 servings to our Massachusetts neighbors who lack access to fresh, healthy produce.
Host a farmers market in Lynn or Dudley. Our summer farmers markets provide fresh, locally grown, affordable produce to culturally diverse communities that otherwise lack access to fresh food. By funding a day at the market, your gift makes healthy produce regularly available to dozens of families, right in their own neighborhoods.
Build two raised-bed garden in a backyard or at a community center to enable low-income residents to grow food for two families of four. The Food Project youth and staff construct and plant the garden, and offer ongoing mentoring and workshops in gardening, nutrition, and cooking.
Send fresh veggies home with a Seed Crew youth throughout the summer. Provide a “backpack CSA share” for a Seed Crew member to take home a portion of the food they’ll grow on our farms. Your gift allows a youth to enjoy the bounty of their labor and grow an appreciation for veggies, from seed to fork.
Thank you for all that you do to keep The Food Project growing!
